- SetManager (on Aminet) is very cool! It makes all patches safe, and with
- the included SetMan utility, you can get a list of everything that's patched,
- and even disable patches with the mouse. (If you have the Commodore .FD
- files, it even shows function names.)
- The only downside is that some programs think it is unsafe to remove their
- patches. Build this into the OS, and the next versions of these programs will
- have no problems.

- I used to despise MUI. Then I decided to give it a real chance, and
- downloaded the developer archive. The programmer's documentation stinks, but
- the API is incredible! I used to spend hours upon hours, just trying to make
- a font-sensitive GadTools layout. I had a good-looking MUI layout running
- within 2 hours. (Well, plenty of BOOPSI programming experience helped.)

-
- Every lamer with access to Aminet, or even a hex editor, can hack them the
- way they are. Still, going to text-only would be too slow, and incompatible
- as well. It makes no sense to change them.
